Proper linear & lateral speed mechanics, body positions and movement patterns are essential for the success of an “athlete” in their respective sport.
Moving and accelerating faster helps to condition the neuromuscular system to help improve the firing patterns of fast twitch muscle fibers. Agility and quickness training improves an athlete’s ability to change directions and perform sport specific skills effectively.
Xcelerate’s speed camps
are for kids between the
ages of 5-17 years old.
The focus of the camp is
straight ahead speed as well as lateral speed form and mechanics.
Speed is determined
by the capacity to apply
a large amount of force in a
short period of time. This is also known as power. Strength training increases overall maximal force production. Both strength and power training are integral to improvement of speed.
Boot Camp entails
1 hour of combat
style, high intensity
training, guaranteed to burn calories and fat. This training session consists of calisthenics, strength training and kick boxing in a circuit that will get your metabolic engine revving.
Xcelerate’s baseball
camps are designed for
kids 4-15 years old. The focus of the camp is to teach basic baseball fundamentals: hitting, fielding and throwing.
